Love Games with live actors and this a perfect example of it. Even though it had a live actor and was on the scary side the puzzles were a good difficulty and would highly recomend this room to anyone. Its gonna be redone soon so I would go sooner then later.

Lots of fun, and was not liner so that up the difficulty, only a few small issues with puzzles but over all it flows great

Atmosphere

set design was on the better side, while not the best ive seen it was good. Everything was is good shape with nothing falling apart, you can tell they take care of there room

I have played this room about 3 times and dragged all my friends to play it. The game creates such unique scenarios and interactions, I leave with a lot of fun memories every time. It also has a nice balance of puzzles, tension, and unpredictability. I would highly recommend this experience for friends looking to get spooked together. They are also constantly upgrading and changing up the room, and every time I've gone it's gotten better. The only thing is the set dressing could use an upgrade and they could implement some more tech, but I hear they will be reworking the room entirely. I think this is Deceptive's strongest room.

Gameplay

Memories are priceless. A nice balance of actor-interaction and puzzles.

Atmosphere

I would love an upgrade to the set and puzzles, which I know they're working on.

GMs, Actors, and Owner are all really nice and accommodating.

This is on the better end of tense horror-actor experiences in my opinion.

Story was kind of there but this isn't story heavy and is more focused on the experience.

No big sign but if you just follow Google Maps it's right there in the parking structure. The business looks dark and closed sometimes from the outside, so just trust in the Maps.

Celebrated my 250th room with the Butcher. Our Butcher got me a few times. We all had a blast and it was fun watching my oldest son on edge the whole game. My advice to anyone playing this game is don’t get caught!

I love games that start out split from the rest of your group. I was genuinely scared throughout the game. I loved the puzzles and how each one fit with the story. I also loved the set of the room and each moment throughout the game. Definitely one of the top 5 scary rooms in California!

This game was fun. I love the split start aspect of some escape rooms. This is a non linear room. This room has a lot of the fun elements that are important to me while playing.

Butcher was a blast. I had never done an escape room before, but I really enjoy the uniqueness of this now that I’ve done other escape rooms. It was scary, fun, and difficult. It’s actually a very long experience. Super cool

Loved this room!! Definitely had us scared and we love scary room. Highly recommend this room!! Amber and Sage were welcoming and we enjoyed chatting with them after our game!
