The remains of Captain Redbeard's ship, thought to be lost at sea almost 500 years ago, have just been discovered in a remote cave on the Mediterranean sea. No explorers have returned alive, and the events of the crash are shrouded in mystery. Can you survive the Curse of the Crystal Cavern?

Fun room, cool set design. Lots of small and intricate props to deal with. One prop took more force than should have been necessary, which required a hint from the GM to figure out. Besides that and one other incident everything worked as expected. Would recommend for intermediate level escapers.

Layered puzzles and great set design. The kids had a blast π₯

This was one of my favorite escape rooms that Iβve done in San Diego. Beautifully designed, very immersive.Lots of puzzles to solve definitely a challenge, but exciting all the way through.

A fun pirate game with a fun opening storyline, lighting and theatrics. A good amount of puzzles to accomplish that are all in theme too. If you played Top Tier games itβs on the same level as Outside In, depending on if you are into the theme of pirates you might like this one better. π΄ββ οΈ

Iβm so happy to see how much Top Tierβs games have progressed with usage of tech and flow. This game was a delight and one of my favorite pirate games. There were so many fun wow moments from the intro to the reveals. Had a great time and make sure to not leave your brain off the plank youβre gonna need it for the many puzzles you must accomplish. Thank you Brandon and Michelle for a perfect send off and initial start to my escape room journey β€οΈ

This is definitely our new favorite room, and BY FAR our favorite pirate room. As soon as the intro starts, you're immersed in the world. There definitely some unexpected elements, and at one point all 3 of literally stood watching an effect going, "that's so cool!"
We absolutely loved that the story was an interactive part of the game, not just a background!
The level of detail atmosphere was top notch. You really felt like you were boarding the pirate ship!
Michelle and Brandon were awesome!

I didn't think I could be surprised by another pirate room. I was wrong!
I've never experienced a game where the story was truly a part of the game like this one!

Some amazing lighting and sound effects, though there were definitely a decent amount of mechanical elements as well. A balanced mix for the theme.

We were a team of 3 - two somewhat experienced players and one newbie. We definitely had to ask for a few hints. We would have really struggled to get to all the puzzles if we would have just had our normal team of 2. If we'd had 4, we probably could have gotten by with less hints.
Not scary
As an adult, not scary at all. My 10-year-old would rate it spooky, only due to some thunder during the intro, but he's pretty sensitive to loud noises. It's dim, but not so dim that you can't comfortably see everything in the room. Like any pirate game, you might encounter a skeleton or π, but that's it.

My 10-year-old loved everything about it except the thunder. I'd say that 90 percent of the puzzles were in his reach. I can only think of one that he wouldn't have been able to reach at all.

By far top escape room weβve played by far! The design of the environment literally feels like youβre playing on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland! Itβs not scary at all, so all ages would highly enjoy, itβs just the level of detail with the design of the room was amazing! Thereβs defiantly a great mixture of locks and tech, but some of the tech in the room had our jaws dropping π± Thereβs a lot of puzzles, which we loved. Itβs a nonlinear room, and we had 4 people, so be sure to divide and conquer. Shout out to Holly for getting us setup with the beta testing, she was an awesome game master when we did the other rooms at top tier! We did the beta testing for this room with the owners, who were awesome! Itβs truly amazing to see the amount of work the owners put into this room!
Story fit the theme super well! The interactive environment brought the experience to a whole new level!
Super immersive, they did an amazing job with the design!
