First time doing an audio escape room and didn’t know what to expect. Mark was a fun and entertaining GM . Game was fun , clever and I enjoyed it.

My first audio escape! Played with strangers, but we all had a great time, and the puzzles were very clever. Mark was wonderful in entertaining our strange to do list, and he made the experience fun.

An amazingly clever and fun audio escape room. Mark Larson is a great GM who can play off of our team's ideas, no matter how wild they may be. Best played with a curious group with a big imagination. The way the jokes, references, and shop tied together was sublime.

This game was like a great combo of D&D and escape rooms. Very similar to the Escape this Podcast style games, it had a ton of humor and some surprisingly good puzzles. The end was also a fantastic little twist.

Hilarious experience that I was lucky to be able to be a part of doing during escape room convention RECON 2023! It was a fun audio adventure with some images and interactive text/browser puzzles with full audio narration and acting by the talented and witty Mark Larson. Deciding via voice with the team what to do, whether part of solving the room or just messing around for fun, led to delightful descriptions and funny outcomes. I didn’t kwant it to end! I was laughing so hard! The ending is a kick too, but I won’t spoil what made it legendary!

Not my type of game. I’ve done a handful of audio only or virtual rooms and this one by far was the hardest to understand what was happening,
Gameplay
I got the gist of what was happening. It didn’t flow well because most of the group was silent for the game. Including myself because i didn’t know what was happening. I didn’t know it would be so dialogue-heavy. I felt with the last discord-based audio escape room i had sufficient visuals and understanding of the story, but it was so confusing to keep up with what was happening and i missed half of the puzzles. One player kept interrupting my friend and I as we tried to help out with answers which just got us even more confused.
Atmosphere
I do like the general gist of what Shop of Theseus meant by the end. I wasn’t immersed because of how badly i wasn’t understanding what was going on.
Customer service
I feel like we were rushed, our GM was talking way too fast for me to take notes. Again, we were interrupted by other players who we didn’t know while trying to hear the story or a puzzle, and other times we were silent and nothing happened. I don’t think the GM was really or prepped for people who had trouble understanding or for those long awkward pauses.

Hard if you don’t understand the puzzles in The first place. I really feel like the way everything was explained made it so much harder for me to understand and pay attention to. I have trouble focusing on only words and the visuals didn’t help me.
