One of the highest rated rooms in the country for a reason - its just as much immersive theater performance as it is an escape room and I only wish more rooms included this kind of experience. VIP experience was very worth it, helped build the tone beautifully and we loved our Daphne. My biggest concern was with how much of this would feel like a traditional escape room and it did not disappoint.

Considering this room has been opened for several years this game holds up incredibly well.

This is hands down the best Escape Room / Immersive Theater Experience I have ever been apart of. I am up in Oklahoma and find myself recommending this to folks here. If you have the time and money, making the trek down to Houston is well worth the visit.

Perfect for almost anyone. I am not sure if there is a Hearing Impaired version of the game though. That would be the toughest thing.

I’ll need to make room in my top five again for Strange Bird. From the lobby to the gameplay everything was great. Madame Daphne was great and pulled you in to the immersion immediately. Some very cool scenes and props that are one of a kind. Not a typical escape room and more immersion theater but was a perfect blend of puzzles and theater. Some will say the price is high but plan on an hour and a half to two hours. It’s a great game and must do if you are in the Houston area. By far the best one I’ve done in Texas so far.

This is my new favorite game of all time. It’s incredible how they were able to craft such a rich story AND include the special effects and puzzles. A truly beautiful experience.

Gameplay

Gameplay was perfect. I didn’t realize how much I appreciated gameplay that was concise, not too difficult, and all story-telling. If you’re looking for a particularly difficult game, this is not it, but it IS incredibly fun.

Atmosphere

Really special. So many different types of skills must have been involved in creating this set.

An amazing and immersive experience. Absolutely sold me on the concept of actors in escape rooms. I can see why this is so consistently highly reviewed - well worth the wait and the price!

Gameplay

The game was a bit on the easier side, but the puzzles flowed well and there was always more than one thing to be doing.

All props were or felt like real antiques and completely appropriate for the setting.

After playing this bucket list room, it is clear why it is considered one of the best in the world. From the moment you enter to when you leave, this place immerses you and pulls you into a story actors are awesome and the entire experience is elevated. We did this as 4 with our 9,13yo. There is one part that takes 3 people 5 feet tall to do it. (Thanks to the 13yo). From the moment you enter until you leave this experience really pulls you in. This room is a must do.

Incredible immersiveness and play. The game flowed so well and continuously kept us thinking and watching. This room is next level.

Atmosphere

The set, the effects, the acting all made this the most immersive room we have visited. This is top notch and clearly an example of what an escape room can be.

Customer service

The staff/actors treated us amazing. Madame daphne made sure to include my 9yo son who participated and made him feel part of the experience. They were amazing.

I don’t want to give spoilers, but the pre game, waivers, end/post game were all over the top awesome and original. Absolutely unique and a must play.
