It is not easy to enter the temple of Tikal because of its previous ruler. As soon as someone enters in there the door gets locked. Escape with your wits.

I agree with a lot of the other reviews here that this is a very creative room with a lot of fun and unique puzzles. However, there are also a couple of puzzles whose design make them inherently frustrating and can become giant time sucks. This is especially true with a small group. As a team of 2, we needed either a third person to handle the puzzle density (especially given some adding extra work by being somewhat confusing or hard to work) or an extra 5 minutes. Larger groups would have fewer problems. Players should also know this room requires at least someone on your team have some good dexterity. But, all in all, I enjoyed the experience, for all the details listed in the [spoilers] reviews.
Some clues and solutions flowed to next logical steps better than others.
Set design was great and the overall feel of the room was exceptional. A+ prop designs
Our game guide was super helpful and answered all our post-game questions.

Part of the difficulty came from the size of our team (2), but it's also a challenging, puzzle-dense room

This is by far one of the best games in NC. It’s challenging and it keeps you busy the whole time. It has unique puzzles and it’s extremely fun. You do need at least 4 ppl to comfortably do this one since it has things that require more than 2 people to do but trust me this one is a must do.

I really enjoyed this room, but some in my party didn’t enjoy this as much. I think it depends on what you like in an escape room! There were more physical puzzles in this room than what I’ve come to expect from an escape room, so beware. I like the change in expectations, but you may not. Overall I thought this was fun!
The gameplay was very fun in this room! It was different that most of the games that I’m used to playing which I enjoyed but some in my group did not, so it’s up to your preference.
Pretty good atmosphere, although it’s really hard to make a building look like a Mayan temple
The GM was amazing and attentive
Yes
Yes, it was different than many games I’ve played before, more physical puzzles (think “legend of the hidden temple” on a much smaller scale).
To be honest I don’t really remember the story, but the environment told most of the story, so it wasn’t necessary.
