Doctor Lycan

This room was poorly themed and most of the puzzles and games didn’t make sense. Difficult to understand the flow of the game. A lot of thrift store decor and Halloween props.

This location used to be called A Narrow Escape and when I went “A Narrow Escape” was still on the building which caused a little confusion but it’s such a similar name we just assumed it was the same place. We loved that they have a house cat! A rescue kitty that was properly chonky and ready for all the pets. You can bring your pets with you! But the room left a little to ge desired. I was with a friend and we joined stranger for this room. The puzzles were sometimes difficult to solve simply because they were illogical. One of the main mechanisms to a puzzle didn’t work for us so it was not possible to escape without help. Overall not a horrible experience but it wasn’t a great one.

This room was awful, the puzzles were all over the place and didn’t make much sense. Felt back for the GM as she was very nice but the room itself was terrible. Worst experience so far

Room was not good unfortunately. The puzzles didn’t make much sense and were hard to follow. We got super confused at the end, only for our GM to tell us we had actually been don’t with the room for close to 10 minutes already.

The worst escape room I’ve played. Scenic, puzzles, everything was ridiculous. The GM was nice, and I felt bad for him working there.

Where do we start with how bad this one was. The detail wasn’t there, most of the locks you could miss the combo and they’d still open. Most of the puzzles had a work around to defeat without actually doing them. I’d stay away from a narrowing escape, it’s expensive, cheaply made and really the only thing to do there is play with the store cat!

I played this about a year ago or more, so I am a little fuzzy on the details, but I can remember the room making no sense. The GM wasn’t particularly helpful and there were some mechanics of the game that just weren’t working!

Unfortunately this game was a 0/10 for me and my group. Game masters and owner of the venue was no help. There’s a reason this place is on Groupon for so cheap! Avoid! They said they have a game no one has escaped from I wonder why. lol

Bad experience overall, game master ignored us for hints and room was bad in general. One of the first things you have to do is unlock a safe. My friends and I had this code within the first 5 minutes and it took us 35 minutes to unlock it because it was a pressure safe that locked you out for 2 minutes per wrong attempt. We were not told this and the game master watched us struggle after we asked for help with it multiple times. Will not be coming back.

This venue has such a “mom & pop” feel. I can tell the owners put a lot of work into making their props with their own hands. This room was interesting and fun. Everything worked, everything flowed.. that’s good game play in my book.
