This game was pretty good. The puzzles were good and the setting was, too. In all of their roo A they have a large banner with the company name on it for group pictures. Any immersion the rooms have here is lost when you look at that banner. It’s a little thing but it tells you that the rooms here aren’t meant to completely immerse you into the story. You’re there to play a game and solve puzzles. That being the case, this is a fine room. It was our favorite of the three we played here. (The other two were the Saloon and the Arcade ones).

You can tell this is a room that was designed a few years ago. The puzzles and set are all what you'd expect from a standard escape room. However, all that isn't as important, as it's the game master interactions in the game that really make the experience. Our game master managed to strike a nice balance of not being distracting when solving puzzles, but still adding lots of character and memorable moments throughout the game!
Some fun puzzles, but nothing too special.
Everything fit the theme and looked nice
The Game Master interaction is really where this game shines.

The interaction here is what made the game. Fun and novel set and theming, some surprises in store... But this all comes down to the outstanding acting :)

This is such a fun room. The puzzles weren’t anything groundbreaking, but they still flow well and make sense. The in-room GM/actor truly makes the experience.
There were a couple of tedious puzzles, but overall, they still flowed and made sense.
All of the props and decorations were on theme.
Our game master/actor was fantastic. They didn’t give unnecessary nudges and definitely added to the story and spook factor. Afterwards, we talked about escape rooms in the area.

Mostly gen1 locks, but a few high tech reveals.

2 people could definitely do this room. I wouldn’t do it with any more than 4.
Spooky
There are creepy props. The actor adds the most to the spookiness.

There is one pretty dark room, but they give you some lanterns.

Great utilization of a game master, though not quite a full-on actor experience. Definitely sets the stage well and then has some other clever clueing and appearances (including a very funny fake-out). Though many combo locks are used, there is also a bit of light tech that creates a few standout solves. The props used were thematic, and all puzzles were appropriately clued. Making connections and finding objects are the main ways you interact with the room. The ending underutilized the GM by having an out-of-context video deliver the ending.

Played solo Great fun. Well themed puzzles in a creepy atmosphere (sometimes very creepy). The actor added a great flavor to this game. Recommended.

“The decor was great for the setting which wasn't anything out of the ordinary.“
