109 escape rooms
The room features a very interesting video game element that I can best describe as an exploration point-and-click adventure. I’m a fan of those types of games, but this one felt a little clunky, partly because of the tech and the controls. It was very hard to know what to do next, and it was down to the wire for our group of 2, even with hints. Shout out to our GM because without him, we wouldn’t have barely escaped! There is one particularly confusing part, and the tank controls of the sub doesn’t do it any favors. This is better for big groups because it’s meant to be played like you’re in a submarine crew where everyone is in charge of a duty. There’s one annoying activity that one person must do to keep the lights on, so with less people, you gotta make sure someone’s always activating the lights. The video game exploration is different and neat, maybe dated, but it’s most of what this room centers about.
