Such a pleasant surprise! The atmosphere was amazing, puzzles were fun, and the story was engaging (which I find quite rare, stories usually just exist as a theme). I would definitely recommend this room for new players and enthusiasts alike - it's always nice to see a room built from passion and you can tell that this isn't your regular escape room. Keep in mind, it -is- a linear room though.
The flow was great and the puzzles were novel but made sense.
Incredible set pieces, it looks comparable to a professional production that you would see at a theme park.
Owner/GM was extremely nice and showed a lot of passion.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
Not your typical lock-and-key. It has all the makings of an outstanding escape room; atmosphere, story, multiple endings/decision making, fun variety of puzzles... It's definitely on the higher end of quality escape rooms.
The puzzles were just the right difficulty. Very straightforward for the most part. Some of the latter puzzles were a bit more confusing, but the interactions were very cool.
I think you could do this room with 2 experienced escape room enthusiasts, but it also works well for groups of maybe 3-5.
I think it falls somewhere between not scary and spooky - some very minor spooky elements that are mostly done in a playful manner; it's similar to what you'd expect to see at Disney.
Some very minor technical issues of things not opening all the way.
Physically active
Not at all
You're fine if you want to slowly move through the room, not physically intense at all.
There's a giant sign in the window that says "ESCAPE ROOM". You can't miss it.
We went late at night on a weekday and there was free parking right across the street. I don't know how busy it may get on weekends or at different times though.
