Blackbeard's Cabin

This was our first Hometown Escapes room. We did not enjoy it very much. While the people working there were friendly, the room was incredibly lacking. Our family of four found the room to be small, the locks too excessive, and the overall experience to be unoriginal. We had high hopes that this would be our new place to do escape rooms, but was left wanting in the end.

Fun single room experience. Well themed but small and would be tight for a large or even mid-size group. We did it with our kids who found it fun. Had a few surprisingly tricky puzzles to work through but nothing too hard.

This room was small, but the story was fun! There were A LOT of treasure boxes with locks to be opened and it was fun! We only used one hint, and the game flowed well. We really love hometown escapes. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and the rooms are always interesting and fun!

This venue is great! Joe, owner, is very welcoming and tells all the story’s perfectly. This is the smallest room they have, but it’s filled with different puzzles. They have a good mix of electronic and traditional puzzles. Definitely worth a visit to this venue!
