Prison Break

There were a couple novel things in the game, and the game mostly made sense.

The set design is very strange, with some seriously authentic and real feeling things coupled with some cheap and boring items.

GM was pleasant enough.

Standard prison escape

Nothing broken, we did accidentally enter an unsolvable state and require help from the GM, but it was mostly our own fault.

More physically active than most rooms.

Required stairs in the room

This is a good mix of both

Had a small hiccup on the start, but gameplay overall flowed well

Used genuine prison doors to add to the theme and at one point felt like a real prison escape

Not really much of a story other than just being a prisoner trying to escape

I would say this is the easiest one in this location

There was some tech items, but it mas mostly mechanical

Yes, there was an item that broke off and the game master had to step in to help us continue. It hurt the immersion a little bit, but didn’t affect the gameplay too much

Its a bit hidden away and if you miss the sign on the sidewalk, it can be easily missed.

Street parking. Would recommend coming on a Sunday or in the evening since most of the street parking is free at that time and probably with more availability as well.

Great flow, super fun.

Some of the props were actually from a New York prison which made the experience extremely immersive. We all felt like we were actually in jail.

Very welcoming, positive and energetic staff.

It was fairly easy to find.

Puzzles were creative, several WOW moments when some puzzles unlocked or doors opened. The flow was great, really one of our faves

Sooo realistic, actual props from a NY prison were used in the rooms. We felt like we were there!

The GM had an emergency and was running late so we waited an extra 10 min or so, but once she got there she made up for it completely in how great she was

For being a prison break game (which has been done a lot) the plot was captivating and super enjoyable. We felt completely immersed, like we were the prisoners

Super fun but simple enough to know and remember what was going on.. so engaging that we felt like we were escaping prison

Hard but with the awesome help of the GM, nothing felt frustrating

It was both, but every puzzle where it was a lock or tech, fit the theme perfectly

There were stairs and some crawling

I have mobility impairment (MS) and there were stairs which I was able to go up and down, but I struggled just a bit. I don’t ever expect escape rooms to be mobility friendly though
