93 escape rooms
We traveled 3.5 hours to play Scorched. I do not understand what the appeal of this game is. It’s mostly lock boxes. I wish I could say that the game had cool special effects, but that would be a lie. The game had absolutely no redeeming qualities and I felt it was a waste of time and money. The game has a lot of empty space that’s not utilized, red herrings, and unintuitive puzzles. There’s no reason to return to Outerlife Studios as I’m not convinced they know how to build a proper escape room.
Unoriginal, unintuitive, lazy design. Very few magnetic locks, the ones that did exist didn’t open on their own. The rooms left a lot of empty space and was cheaply made.
Mostly lock and key.
The game master was nice. The owners are unresponsive and manage by abdication.
Yes
Yes it was, in the sense that it wasn’t a “trope room.” Still a terrible game.
Easy
Anyone who’s played 10 or more games will fly through this one. If you have a giant room with a single nightstand in the corner…. So difficult *eye roll*
Mechanical
Few mag locks. Mostly lock and key.
