I really liked this room! The puzzles were fun but not too difficult and the production value / props is really fancy. The story was a little confusing and we had to keep going back to one room to watch videos to progress the story. But otherwise, I really enjoyed the puzzles and atmosphere of the room. I would recommend 3-4 players for this room. The puzzles are linear and some of the spaces are pretty small, so it would be difficult for more players.
This room was a lot of fun! While the puzzles are pretty standard, there were some interesting ones that required some thought to get. I loved the different rooms and props. The structure flowed well with the story.
The atmosphere was very good. The props and rooms were all very high production value and immersive. The hinting system was cool. Instead of having a walkie talkie, there was a more immersive way to indicate that you need help and I’m guessing the room has microphones so that the staff can hear you ask your questions.
The staff was very welcoming. We didn’t interact with them too much.
No
The room and props were very cool, but overall the puzzles were pretty standard.
The story was cool, but it was hard to follow along because we were required to watch so many videos that weren’t always related to the puzzles. There are multiple rooms, and we had to keep returning to the first room to watch the videos. At the end, we were also confused about what our goal was. I thought we were supposed to save someone who entered the temple before, but instead we just escape ourselves??? Oops, we must have forgotten the poor guy in there.
Easy
Bordering easy/medium. Some of the harder puzzles have instructions hinting at what you have to do. The puzzles are pretty standard puzzles.
High tech
Definitely high tech, as most Omescape rooms are. There are sensors, lighting, and sound, which all help the immersion.
3
Would recommend 3 mid to experienced people. A couple puzzles are designed for 3 people. The structure is all linear, so having more people might mean some people can’t participate as much and some of the spaces are pretty small.
Not scary
There was one part that scared me because of the suddenness of a technical transition, but otherwise the room was not scary. The props and story try to give off a spooky aura, but I didn’t find it that spooky either.
Yes
There were some worn out puzzles, so we could kind of infer the solution (e.g. equivalent to a keypad where the commonly typed numbers are worn out, though this is not actually the item that was worn out). However, overall nothing was straight out broken and all the high tech pieces work as intended!
No
The GM acts out a character in the introduction, but otherwise there are no live actors in the room.
Somewhat
There’s a lot of moving around, so make sure to bring comfortable shoes and few layers. There is climbing (ladders) and crawling involved too. I definitely worked up a sweat by the end of it.
This game is not very accessible with impairment issues. There are audio puzzles, low lighting, and puzzles that require a lot of moving around. There’s also flickering lights, which they warn about for potential epilepsy risk.
Yes
We used google maps — just make sure to select the correct Omescape location because there are multiple. They have a sign near the roadside to indicate the correct side road to turn into.
Easy
Omescape has its own parking lot, so lots of free parking spots!

We were excited for this one, but it unfortunately fell short. The excessive back and forth movement felt restrictive and the game was entirely too linear - especially because it requires a few people so you can’t split up, and everyone has to just follow around for each task. The storyline was also “required” to pay attention to but it was extremely convoluted and didn’t match up…I had no idea what the actual point of this story was. The puzzles were a stretch and it seemed like prerecorded hints were needed at every turn. There was a lot going on and it was high tech, but it didn’t justify the price. $60 per person felt excessive for this.

The set was great and I really enjoyed the use of space. Plus, it was one of the most unique entries into an escape room that I’ve seen. There were two puzzles that were really memorable and overall they were good and in there. That said, I still only give it a thumbs up because of the cut screen style videos and attempts at storytelling which were really just distracting and unnecessary. I would recommend 3-4 players for this room.

Very linear room, some decent group puzzles, but also a lot of standing around in big groups. Good set design, good gimmick of swapping night and day. Good puzzles, just all around good, but nothing spectacular.
The GMs don’t talk to each-other and it’s clear. We did 4 of their games in a row, and every single GM had no idea who we were and asked the “have you ever played escape rooms before” question despite us having been there longer than they were…also, GM messed up her speech continually and didn’t properly have the room reset.

There was one part where two members needed to crawl into a small dark space for a somewhat extended period of time. There was another part where all members needed to crawl for about 15-20 feet.

It’s definitely up there as one of my favorite rooms. It’s really immersive. Cohesive puzzles and there definitely are designs that blew me away. I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes due to running around a lot. Also watch your head.

Super fun room with a great theme, impressive set design, cohesive puzzles and lots of opportunity for team work with only a couple of bottlenecks. Recommend for groups of four or more.

Perfect room if your celebrating a birthday and burning off all the calories you had at dinner. Please wear appropriate shoes for this one because you’ll definitely get a sweat going. And no layers trust me on this one! Extra bonus if your a tiny person and a musical person. And please mind your head
