You have 60 minutes to escape from prison, or itβs your life. No pressure. You and your group of friends have been sentenced to life without possibility of parole. You are rotting in a maximum security prison. The catch? You didn't do it. While waiting for someone to help you, you plead for your life in court, but your appeals have been denied again and again. Your entire group was set up, and the only proof that will set you free, is outside of the walls of the prison. Since the criminal justice system is broken, the only thing you can do now is rely on those inside to help you escape. It seems everyone in the prison - the cook, the janitor, all of the trustees - all believe you, and will work together to make sure you don't rot in prison for the crime you didn't commit. But will their help be enough?

My favorite room done to date! π±ππ€― just over the moon thinking about what a novel experience this was. Such an invigorating and balanced experience, beginning to end! It was physical, realistic, and immersive with an array of puzzles. Our team cannot shut up about how this room set the standard for what the perfect escape experience can be. This will be my #1 recommendation in the LA area for those looking for a LA-level production value experience.
So amazing! The set built on itself and revealed a number of surprises that made sense within the story.
We loved our GM Rory! They were very polite and made us feel in good hands.

Each puzzle logically and seamlessly was integrated into the story. Nothing seemed out of place, or puzzles for the sake of puzzles. The first sequence was particularly mind blowing and phenomenal. Did they really want us to do THAT? Redefined what an escape room experience could be.

2-4, can be solved by two very competent out of the box thinkers. Four would be fun!

I was drenched in sweat by the end of this experience and I loved it.

They have a small lot, 1 reserved spot per team, but it didnβt seem hard to find street parking on a weekend night

Too many hints! We wanted to figure it out ourselves! I think this room would work better as a 75-90 minute experience since itβs so big, to have enough time to solve puzzles without so many unsolicited hints.
Cool puzzles, lots of not too obvious clues

Best prison escape room my team and I have done. I appreciated the immersive elements. I would recommend!!

This is a quite well done prison break style escape room. I can't say that it's a "love" rating for me as the style of room is overdone for me. If you're quite new to escape rooms or haven't done many prison break style games, then I'd recommend this one thoroughly!

I was extremely immersed in the prison escape scenario, the set design was perfect given the story. As a group of two, we did not end up escaping, I suggest maybe a group of three minimum. The GM did a wonderful job. Definitely going back to do another.

The best part about Escape Revolution is how real their rooms feel. Inside the room felt like you were in a solid fortress. The jail cells were real, according to our game master. Itβs a very fun room. Specially if you lean into the story a bit. There are Easter eggs for your group that make things feel personalized. The hint system is my favorite of any room Iβve done. I feel terrible not remembering his name, but our GM took it to another level. He was a blast. Was it worth $55, game play wise maybe not. But itβs respectful if they are paying their GMs properly. Also, just a reads up: parking is tricky. They only allow one car in their lot per room so make sure you plan that one out. They are on Melrose a block down from LaBrea so itβs definitely a busy street.

Story was simple. Locked in jail and find a way out!

There are stairs and you have to go up the stairs for most of the puzzles. Thereβs also another physical portion, which was an awesome surprise so I wonβt spoil, but itβs a pretty physical room. Not for the puzzles specifically, but we were running up and down those stairs.
Mobility might be difficult in this room. Itβs 2 floors, and half of the puzzles are upstairs.

They only allow one car per room to park in their lot. Otherwise you are set to brave finding parking on Melrose. Be careful about parking near the residence area!! They do hand out tickets

Very well done with high production value. Out of a hundred rooms this one always sticks out in my mind. Although itβs a theme thatβs done often, they made it feel very unique and extremely realistic. I would repeat this game.

Great environment and immersion. Game master was fantastic . However game was easier than I thought and more straight forward. Wish it had not been so linear.
It was very linear and you had to do things in the right order. Wouldnβt be good for large groups. It was very fun and flowed well but I felt that the puzzles were very simple and things I had seen in several other rooms before.
Very immersive and large room. You could interact with everything

2nd room at escape revolution did not disappoint. Very immersive, gets you moving of course, and creative and challenging puzzles as always!
βThis is one of the better prison escape rooms Iβve seen. Itβs a worthy gameβ¦β
