While you were visiting the beaches near Pier 84 you found a message in a bottle that had washed up on the shoreline. It was an SOS leading you to Captain Tracey's Charters that is known to be run by a fisherman who is obsessed with finding lost treasure.

Everyone working at Escape GOAT is amazing. Super friendly, helpful, understanding, accommodating!

What a great little room! This room makes great use of the space, it’s fairly small compared to other rooms but packs a punch within! The puzzles were very well done with a great mixture of tech and locks. And we thought the atmosphere was really well done. The puzzles fit the theming well and we’re enjoyable ti conquer. Not too difficult of a room. We got stuck on the first puzzle and thought we were doomed, but after our one small hint we sailed through the rest. The ending definitely made us smile, and was very satisfying.

Really great little room. All of the puzzles made sense and were in theme with the room. The set was cute. We had a great time!

This is a small room but packed with puzzles and things to do. Set design and props were top notch. We really loved the storyline and theme.

I’ve been wanting to play this game since I played The Quest at the same location a while back. This room was easier than the quest, but again nonlinear (once you leave the first room). There are definitely too many 4 digit codes/locks in the main room, and the directional lock didn’t open the first 2 times (had the same problem in The Quest). But kudos to good design, it was pretty obvious which code went with which box once you broke it down. Escape Goat does a good job of organizing and grouping tasks/codes. Rooms were immersive and the tech was subtle but apparent. Game Master was helpful nudging me in the right direction because the mech/tech releases weren’t always obvious what to do next (honoring the don’t touch screwed/glued rule), which was challenged in the first room. The clues I asked for were for time management once I figured out the basic solution. to be honest, I didn’t really need any clues after the first one, but there’s only one timer that is out of sight so you lose track of time easily in the main room. Definitely a room to do solo, definitely a great beginner room, but honestly - this is a date night dream for two rookies.
First clue was very very subtle, and the game didn’t align properly, so that needed a clue, after that, it was “smooth sailing.” (Hahah)

Love rooms at escape goat for their non-linear puzzles where multiple people can solve without roadblocks. The theming is also unique and immersive!

Fisherman’s Tale was a very cute game. It had some good puzzles that made the game fun. It is a smaller room but they pack a bunch of great puzzles into the space they have! Escape Goat is such an amazing company and worth the visit!

We sailed through this one with a team of three, no hints or stumbles, and easily could have done so with just two. It was cute, very easy, and straightforward. Good beginner room. We’ll be back to try their other, more challenging rooms.
