Blackout was a fun room with entertaining puzzles. The GM wants to ensure you’re enjoying yourself and offers nudges along the way if you want them. The owner is a great guy and you can tell he takes pride in his business and wants to create new rooms in the future.
Our Game Master let us know he had only been working there a few months, but he did a great job! Also, the owner of Prototype games is super friendly and easy to talk to. He takes pride in his establishment!

Nice Room! We had fun and enjoyed solving the puzzles. Prototype has live interactions with the games and it is cool! This is not a hard room, but has a few catches. Perfect for escape lovers. Definitely recommend.

Started our prototype experience with blackout, a very different experience from every other game in Jacksonville as it involves a live actor interaction. Definitely recommend, we had a very fun time

If you're looking for a fun night out with your friends, this is the room to book. It's like you've literally jumped into the scenes of The Hangover and you just know something wild is gonna happen.

This was a nice way to relax with friends! Fairly standard puzzles (primarily observation-based) in two non-linear chambers [as advertised on website]. Staff (owners and our GM, Whitney) were friendly and helpful. If you haven’t seen the movie “Hangover”, I recommend doing so before this room; it won’t affect your ability to solve any puzzles at all, but as someone who hadn’t seen the movie, I think I would’ve liked it a little bit more if I had!
As detailed in the room’s description on the website, this room has 2 chambers. Both are nonlinear, also as promised!
Set design felt true to the theme. I especially appreciated the very clear audio/visual feedback when completing a non-lock puzzle.
Whitney was lovely— friendly and quick on her feet. We didn’t use any clues. Owners are welcoming and chatted with us for a bit; really appreciated the personal connection!
Unique theme was nice! There were a lot of references to the movie Hangover.
Medium
Most puzzles are observation based.
High tech
There was a mix of both here, but the puzzle tech was well done. Lockless puzzles often have audio and visual cues once completed correctly. Clues/hints are, however, audio-only and the speaker in the second room is a little hard to hear.

For people who play frequently, you could get by with 2-4! We did it with 5 and still had fun.
