Game Night

Of the three games we played at CU Adventures, this was my favorite. The 80s nostalgia, the short time there is a live actor, the D&D fantasy vibe was all great. It’s not a perfect game, but it was a lot of fun for our group of four, who by the way have never played D&D.

This is one of my favorite rooms of all time. It's clear the owners are passionate, great story tellers, and talented set designers. There is so much immersion here, every single object you see or touch fits the theme. I loved the progression of the room from start to finish, it really felt like we were going ton a true dungeon quest. I won't spoil the ending, but it was VERY climactic and interactive, my group was yelling and laughing with excitement. I ended up playing this room twice and there are so many interesting details in the room that I loved it the 2nd time too. The game masters at CU Adventures are super friendly and fun too.

Something about these rooms was just delightful. A serious attention to detail with deeply thematic gameplay made these games super immersive. I felt like puzzles were logical parts of the storyline and cleverly in world. Even the countdown clocks blended well into the worlds. Game Night was such a unique theme with a story that just kept progressing in the most charming fashion. I’m definitely a bit of a nerd and this spoke to my sense of childhood wonder. Highly recommend for its immersive and interactive game play.
