Overall fun room. Some puzzles that require moving around to figure out. One puzzle my team didn’t understand at all, we had to use their “hints” in order to move forward.

This room was AWESOME. I’ve done a bunch of rooms, which mostly consist of lock & key, but this had some really creative puzzles that I haven’t seen before at other locations. We didn’t escape unfortunately but that was due to our own negligence lol. Staff was terrific and welcoming. Nothing was broken. Storyline was unique. Scary at just the right moments. Will be returning for their other rooms.

Broken puzzles 👎 This place has so much potential. I kept going back hoping they would fix everything. Won’t be trying again.

This room seemed to be all over the place in my opinion. The scares seemed to just be loud and there to happen as a, “you did it” for the puzzles. Two of the puzzles were not operational at the time we went and the game master even said he forgot to trigger one that he knew was not operating when we completed it which took some of our time. I dislike a game that has broken features that are vital to the game. The story was hard to follow it just seemed to be a mash of you need info for a puzzle, but it doesn’t fully make sense. We did not escape unfortunately so I did not see the end, but I was oddly ok with that as I was not fully sold on this room.

A lot of our mechanics were broken. It was an interesting story and I liked the concept and theming of it all…. but when two puzzles had technical difficulties and having spoke to the gm after to hear them say “they’ve been broken for a while” is frustrating! We wanna solve as much as we can! I can’t attest to their other rooms, but I’d opt for another of theirs or elsewhere.. it wasn’t worth the $70. :(

Pipe maze wasn’t actually blocked off and we got the magnet into an area we weren’t meant to. Also the knobs on the lights weren’t working, our game master noticed 5 minutes too late that we were spinning it and it wasn’t turning on. And even included that “they have been broken for a while.” if so many things hadn’t been broken, I think I would’ve enjoyed it. But we couldn’t finish puzzles do to things being broken… for a $70 room, it’s best to have those things fixed!

Trouble on the last puzzle 🧩 we didn’t escape but also the person that came was not friendly enough to tell us what we missed. I didn’t appreciate that. definitely not going back for that last puzzle. It was non linear Room a lot of things in the first room that causing confusion can waste a lot of time there.

I think this is the second biggest in the escape hotel Hollywood location. Game master was very energetic and in tune with the whole vibe for the room, a lot of thinking but a great one
