The room is pretty beginner friendly and perfect for small groups due to its sequential nature (only 1-2 puzzles active at any given time).
The sound effects were pretty startling at first, so just be aware of that going in. Some of the equipment had a bit of wear and tear as well (e.g. faded marks, the clock seemed broken so we had to ask for the time remaining).
Overall, it was pretty fun to experience! It was a cool storyline and the game master, Carys, was really committed to the acting. And if you finish early, there’s an extra set of puzzles that gets unlocked!
The puzzles weren’t very difficult, but the storyline and special effects really made the experience.
The special effects were amazing. There are some noise jump scares, so just be ready for that.
Particularly interesting or different
No
Mostly loud noise jump scares! There weren’t any visual jump scares or live actors meant to scare you.
Just some normal wear and tear (e.g. stickers not showing up well), it did affect some of the puzzling but not too much. Our clock wasn’t working but we were able to get time updates from the game master.
The game master acts as a character named Rowan, which is pretty cute and lends to the immersive experience.
Physically active
Not at all
There’s a parking lot for the building! We went on a weekday evening when it was practically empty.
