Very fun experience. The theme was pretty fun and the GM took good care of us. This room is fairly challenging but can also be beginner friendly.
Very fun, good flow
Fun environment and props, interesting plot
Staff were all super cool and helpful. Our GM Adam was extremely enthusiastic.
Plot is silly if you think too deeply about it but enjoyable in the moment

Last puzzle was significantly challenging because of the timing aspect

At least one team member needs to be relatively agile to get through a window. Most people should be able to do it though.

It’s at the mall so there is parking galore, it’s right by the parking lot too so not a far walk through the mall.

One of the locks was already open. It was fun. Good for intermediate players to start, but puzzles towards the end are more advanced.

This is the second game we did here, first being Once Upon a Time. This game was much more fun and balanced than Once Upon a Time. A couple difficult puzzles, but we had a great time. Definitely brute forced a couple puzzles. Would suggest 3-4 max for this room.

Pretty linear, but there was plenty to do. We really loved the solutions to the puzzles. The room itself was very well decorated.

There was a broken part of one of the puzzles that made it virtually impossible to solve. The game master had no clue and we ended up wasting 10 min. Then the game master didn’t believe us until we physically showed her the problem. She had probably just thought we didn’t know how to solve the puzzle. But it was one of those things were If she had been paying any sort of real attention she would have understood the issue and intervened appropriately. Instead we wasted so much time and had to rush through the end instead of being able to enjoy the puzzles. The game me master was defensive about it as well instead of acknowledging her good up when we proved the problem to her at the end
Gameplay was overall decent. Some good puzzles my husband and I haven’t seen before and we’ve done almost 50 rooms
Set design ok. It was odd to escape out a window with the item and then still have more to do
There was a broken thing in one of the puzzles that made it virtually impossible to solve. The game master did not help us or acknowledge. We wasted 10 min on something that was just broken until we finally asked for hint. The first hint wasn’t even helpful because it didn’t address the problem of the broken puzzle. Then at the end we had to point out the broken part and the game master was just defensive about it

This was the second room we did at Red Door. Our game master Dorothy was really helpful and fun. The room was well themed and the level of puzzles are appropriate. Room is fairly linear. The most difficult part was finding all the items scattered around the room. The final puzzle was pretty unique and used good tech.

The room was cute and definitely easier than the other room we did (Confinement) earlier that day. We felt better knowing we finished a room that day. The website labeled it medium on their page but it was definitely leaning towards the hard difficulty. The puzzles had lots of tech and cute puzzles that led to the other clues. It flowed nicely and led to other parts. It was cool to see how some clues had to be solved, with use of many props. What was interesting that one puzzle was needed to finish the room and we overlooked it. We could have finished quicker, but thankfully the game master nudged us without too much of a hint. I also like how they wanted you to celebrate/indicate you finished the room. The story was then finished and rounded out by the game master and what I found interesting was that all the rooms connected in one way or another.

Another fun room at Red Door. Their rooms are in really good shape as they are all on the newer side. I would consider this a medium difficulty for experienced players. We did this room as a group of four and got out with okie ty of time left.

Great room but lots of puzzles. We first tried this game with 2 people and didn’t escape. There was just too much to do. I suggest having at least 4 people in your group for this one. The design was cool and the puzzles were fun. We even did this room another time with another couple because we wanted to do the puzzles we couldn’t complete at first and it was just as fun as the first time. Of course we escaped that time lol
