Outbreak

I do not recommend this room to anyone and especially beginners. I have done over 30 escape rooms over a few months and this was by far the worst. It made no sense and I don't see how anyone can pass it unless you made the escape room yourself. I have failed escape rooms before which is not a problem, the problem is that even when the gamemaster explains the missing parts or clues it still didn't make sense. At least when I have failed before it was fair and made sense as to why. This room doesn't give any idea on how to figure certain parts of the room, for example you have to feed something there is nothing in the room to give you an idea in a range of what it's supposed to be without it being spelled out for you. Another part that made no sense is a sequence of colors which is fine but there is nothing in the room that gives you an idea of what colors to ignore. I don't care if a room is hard or if I fail but I care if it's fair and makes sense at the end when the game master explains it. Even with an explanation this room was just horrible.

I have never hated a room this much before. This is the room that will have everyone not want to come back to play other rooms from this company or all escape rooms in general, beginners or not. Just avoid this one. It’s a huge disappointment to the industry. Our GM was nice. However, he or someone called us because they were concerned we weren’t going to show up, we picked up the phone to confirm our eta. We arrived maybe 2 minutes late and the room wasn’t even set up yet so we had to wait regardless..not cool.

Overall the room was fun to play however in comparison to other rooms I have played this room was lacking in the puzzle department they were either too easy, not well explained and one puzzle where you have to line up objects by moving them in a certain direction on a computer screen was just an absolute time waister. The manager told us that everyone gets stuck on this puzzle if that is the case then this puzzle should be removed also the last puzzle of the game did not flow and was unnecessary as you already completed you goal.
