Temple of TikalTotal EscapeEscape roomIRLI agree with a lot of the other reviews here that this is a very creative room with a lot of fun and unique puzzles. However, there are also a couple of puzzles whose design make them inherently frustrating and can become giant time sucks. This is especially true with a small group. As a team of 2, we needed either a third person to handle the puzzle density (especially given some adding extra work by being somewhat confusing or hard to work) or an extra 5 minutes. Larger groups would have fewer problems. Players should also know this room requires at least someone on your team have some good dexterity. But, all in all, I enjoyed the experience, for all the details listed in the [spoilers] reviews.

There were tons of Easter eggs to appreciate if you have experience with that era of pop culture, but nothing that requires specific knowledge, which makes it a great room for families. There were a couple of puzzles, in particular, that involved the theme of video gaming in a super fun, practical, engaging way. There were also one or two puzzles where the flow or logic leap wasn't quite as obvious, but the clue system was really effective and in "character". Also, importantly, customer service at this family run escape was great!
Wild WestBreakout Games - GreensboroEscape roomIRLI've played every Breakout Room they've ever had. So when I found out a location nearby where I was traveling had a new room, I was excited to try it, especially since it promised some immersive tech-based puzzles. "Wild West" did not disappoint. It was a super fun theme with puzzles that made sense and contributed to the narrative. As a new room, there were some technical hiccups, but they were addressed quickly and the "awe" factor from what worked (particularly the "win" at the end) more than made up for it and validates game makes decisions to continue to incorporate these types of elements. Of note, since it wasn't included on the website description, one member of your party, is separated and blindfolded (briefly) and handcuffed (with a decent range of motion) for a period of time at the beginning of the game. It completely with the plot of the game, but it's good to know going in. We were a team of two and this room was challenging enough that we *just* made it it and fun enough that our debrief of favorite parts is still ongoing. Which, for me, is a truly successful escape experience.
Enchanted KingdomBull City EscapeEscape roomIRLI really liked about 90% of this room. The theming and set decorations were great and there were some really fun and unique puzzles! Unfortunately, there were also a few puzzles that were super frustrating. My major concern was the final puzzle. Even the game guide had trouble explaining how it was supposed to work post-game and had to go back to the office to remind themself of the answer. And when we gave feedback on *why* it was so confusing as constructed, the reaction was pretty dismissive. (Otherwise, the game guide was great!). It should be said we were playing as a team of two and larger groups might have better luck figuring everything thing out in the given time. As I said, there were a lot of excellent elements about this room and company, and I would definitely give one of their other rooms a try if I were in the area again.
