The Edison Escape RoomPalace GamesEscape roomIRLWhy are you even reading my review? JUST GO DO EDISON ALREADY!!! It’s my favorite room of all time. Tech was so cool. Puzzles were so unique. There’s a reason it’s called the Edison room. Heeheehee!
Dragon AlleyKeystone Escape GamesEscape roomIRLAwesome room! Best in Reno. Definitely worth it in Morty medals and Terpeca nominees. I loved it. Almost everything about it I loved. Definitely in my top 10.
Blood Of The OriginalKeystone Escape GamesEscape roomIRLDecent room. Not difficult for the experienced. Great for the beginners. Good set design. Very enjoyable. I did solo but if you have more than 3- 4 experienced players then some may be bored. 4 newbies will love the hell out of this room. ***Also found out they have some customizable puzzles so if you’re really experienced just say you want the puzzles on hardest option instead of the medium or easy option just in case.
The Nest [Immersive Theatre]Hatch Escapes - LAEscape roomIRLNot an escape room, like others have said, but it’s AMAZING. It’s meant to be an immersive theater with a few puzzles for interactivity. Would not recommend this for people looking for a rush of the hard earned escape. Only do it if you really care about story, & immersion. The set piece is amazing, the story was moving. Overall though it’s a must do for what it is.
S.A.S.H.A: Home Of The FutureWild Goose Escapes FullertonEscape roomIRLI liked the design and immersion. I liked the tech and puzzles. The puzzles were fairly easy imo, but there were a lot of them. A lot. I did this room Solo and I used one clue but didn’t escape and would have needed 5 more min to escape by myself. Two experienced people can do this room. Or 3-6 newbies.
Noir Episode 1Deadline Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLHad fun. Great atmosphere. Lot of number type of locks but I didn’t mind that here. Some tech. Story was cool. Definitely enjoyable room.
Wildlife Tour (Price Schedule with Rate Sheets)FareHarborEscape roomIRLVery fun room just wish the gm wasn’t in the room with us the entire time and wish some of the room was a little more reliable. Something didn’t work and one thing wasn’t reset properly. Also my other teammate said the solution which was right didn’t work at first. Even with those disappointing instances and even though we didn’t get out in time (needed 5 more min) we really enjoyed the room. If you do the room you’ll enjoy it just make sure if you are trying to solve a puzzle you should make sure the solution with the gm that it’s right if you think you’re doing it right. I recommend doing the room as there’s basically zero number/letter/key locks and it has unique puzzles. The puzzles alone are worth it.
Saving FrankensteinClockwise Escape Room - PleasantonEscape roomIRLPuzzles were medium. There aren’t clear clues of what belongs to what so some might find them hard. But I thought they were clear enough to know what to do and what belonged to what for the most part. I was solo so I missed something I should have found. There might also be a couple unintentional misclues/red herrings but nothing too bad. And I made a simple but annoying mistake on one puzzle that I assume will be common. Overall I had fun. I wouldn’t do this room with more than 3 people. 4-5 if newbies. Shoutout to both Crow and Jenna. They were both super nice.
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game San JoseEscape roomIRLA solid room that had decent puzzles. Nothing shockingly amazing but nothing was bad at all. Just a solid room. If you’re experienced don’t need more than 2-3. It can be done solo but they’ll mix you in with strangers anyway. Kinda unintentionally warm in the room though FYI.
The MorgueLimitless Escape Games - PleasantonEscape roomIRLAverage room. Not bad. Not great. It’s a public room on the weekend and the maximum people is too much imo. But if you do this room on the weekday it’s private. This place also has an axe and ale place connected to it.
