Atlantis: The Forgotten CityHypnotic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLProduction value was definitely up there. Visually it was incredible. The puzzles were clever and satisfying. I felt like the room flowed well, and we understood throughout the game what are objectives were for the most part. We only ended up getting completely stuck once and needed a single clue for the whole experience.
Jack The RipperMaze Rooms Culver CityEscape roomIRLI liked the aesthetics. A little bit of effort goes a long way in my opinion on Escaperooms, so I appreciated the decor/the look of the room. My group enjoyed the experience overall. There were six of us half of us with experience and half of us with very little experience. We all had a good time, but we got out in 28 minutes. So I would suggest this as a beginner game. Some of the puzzles were a bit simplistic, but still enjoyable. My only complaint was that we were given clues unsolicited. And considering we managed to escape in less than half the time, it’s a little aggravating to feel like we are kind of pushed along when we didn’t need it or want it or ask for it. I still recommend the room though. I also recommend a company. I have gone to several of their rooms and this was the first time that I had any type of issue whatsoever and it was a small one.
