Armoire a Vendre [Wardrobe for Sale]Escaparium LavalEscape roomIRLThe game scenery was very impressive, bit the story is very childish. I wasn’t expecting that, so I was a little bit disappointed.
Projet R.E.S.E.T.Immersia Escape GamesEscape roomIRLA different kind of game. Very interesting experience. Never saw that kind of game play before.
The Grand Immersia HotelImmersia Escape GamesEscape roomIRLOne of the best game that I’ve played at this time.
Le Gardien des Glaces [The Guardian of the Ice]Evasion Top ChronoEscape roomIRLOne of the best game at Top Chrono. The scenery was very nice. The puzzle was logical. We really have appreciate our experience!
L'institut Salutem Medicina [Salutem Medicina Institute]Immersia Escape GamesEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite game at this time. If you want to have a scarier experience, you can tell the staff before beginning the game. Really enjoyed my experience!
Le Blind Tiger [The Blind Tiger]Escaparium LavalEscape roomIRLBeautiful room, great atmosphere. The GM did a fantastic job. We had a lot of fun playing this game.
La Relique Maudite [The Cursed Relic]Evasion EvolutionEscape roomIRLNice place! Good game. We have done the game at two players. Was a good game for two players. Everything was working find. No lock in the game. I really appreciate that.
Week-end au chalet [Weekend at the Shack]Immersia Escape GamesEscape roomIRLIt was an okay experience. But the game style is outdated, so the puzzles aren't as impressive as those in more modern games.
La ConFéeserieSOS Aventures - Saint-JérômeEscape roomIRLThis is the latest room to be added at SOS Aventure. There’s a lot to do. Lots of puzzles. We went there with two pre-teens, and they got bored because the puzzles were too complicated for them. The decor is beautiful, but it’s already damaged, and the room has only just opened. We didn’t finish the game. It’s the first time we’ve ever paid extra to finish it, because there were still quite a few things left to do. There were six of us (four adults and two pre-teens). Of the four adults, two didn’t really feel like continuing (too complicated). It was kind of like there were only two of us playing the game. It’s a bit too intense for just two people, hahaha. I’m really looking forward to seeing the rest of the game on my next visit to finish it.
La Nuit Du Loup Et Du Serpent [The Night of the Wolf and the Serpent]SOS Aventures - Saint-JérômeEscape roomIRLPhew, what can I say. The flow was very disjointed. On top of that, there was one puzzle we managed to solve, but the trigger for the mechanism was so subtle that we had to ask the GM what we were doing wrong, since we were sure we’d solved the riddle. The GM told us we had solved it and pointed us in the right direction. The conversation took place via an iPod with the GM, so responses weren’t very quick. Once again, an experience at SOS Aventure with a GM who lacked presence and wasn’t following the flow of the game. The logic behind the puzzles is pretty mediocre. At the end, we were told that SOS Aventure had bought the game from a company that went bankrupt. We’re not surprised. That was their way of justifying our “lack of fun” during the game.
