This was a fun game! We were a group of two and I think with more people it would have taken away from the gameplay for us. The puzzles were fairly easy. We didnโt have to ask for any hints. And I am not ashamed of asking for hints. ๐ Lots of tech though.. no lock and key. Loved that! Overall a super unique, cute, and fun concept!
Gameplay was linear and flowed well.
So cute!
Our GM was great!

Iโd recommend checking this place out with tempered expectations. Elements of the game are downright INCREDIBLE but unfortunately malfunctions and some safety concerns for a very high tech room left us leaving frustrated and underwhelmed, and generally scratching our heads. That said, the owners are clearly capable of some serious creativity and I wish them the best, but they do need to take accountability for their malfunctions and not get defensive / make excuses when it comes to bad reviews. Iโd look forward to hearing what other people experience, and Iโm rooting for them!
Novel gameplay and some very creative ideas, but frequent malfunctions, frequent unsolicited hints from GM, and an unclear narrative / lack of cohesion (maybe this was deliberate) really killed the magic. When we did need help / hints it wasnโt much of an โoh of course!โ feeling and more of a โโฆhuh?โ solve. That said, parts of the game are so cool, itโs worth checking out if the issues are addressed.
Impressive elements with overall underwhelming / โarts and craftโ atmosphere to much of it didnโt align with high tech premise. Some parts were cool enough to make up for it, but a ton of potential that ultimately failed to execute on as a whole. Game could use some TLC overall and a โreboot.โ Seeing how incredible some aspects of the room are (some seriously โWOWโ moments), Iโd love to see this standard applied to the rest of the room. You can see that the owners have it in them to create some serious magic. Rooting for them that they do so from here!
Staff was very nice, owner failed to acknowledge our frustration or address malfunctions within game thus far. If they do so, Iโd love to give this place another shot.
Yes
First escape room Iโve done, but I can say the owners clearly put a lot of thought into trying to make it creative and different. Parts of it had me stop and marvel at what they had designed as downright amazing. The rest and overall generally underwhelmed.
Story was disjointed and ultimately didnโt make much sense, but I think this may have been the point. Seemed like a lot of unnecessary and confusing elements that didnโt serve the narrative, and anticipated weโd have to โuncoverโ something by the end that had nothing to do with the lead up.
Hard
We found it difficult, but hard to say with so many glitches, and GM often spoiled with unrequested hints throughout as a result. I think the GM was genuinely trying to help as she became aware of our troubles with the room itself. Ultimately this delivered a less satisfying game overall. No hints should be given unless requested.

Not scary but dark confined spaces could certainly spook someone.

Not recommended for little onesโ safety concerns and I wouldnโt bring my kids here. Fine for teens / adults.

(Spoilers ahead:) Parts of this game either required multiple attempts at same process to trigger properly, or in parts appeared even run down / falling apart. Maintenance is not up to par for a high tech game. Really killed the magic for us. Multiple elements broken and GM had to stop game to come in and fix something or reset something we had triggered early. GM was helpful and tried her best I thinkโ owner failed to acknowledge or take accountability, and you can see takes to making excuses and getting defensive on Yelp reviews. Be aware: nerf guns are not securely held up and can fall from above and hit you (as they did us), and sliding area poses a danger where fingers or other body parts could easy be caught and crushed. From a safety perspective, this room is a disaster waiting to happen, and I would not take little ones here. I listed out elements which were broken or not working properly in my Yelp reviewโ for a high tech game, the list is lengthy. I would encourage a more experienced player to review this room from this perspective and let us know their thoughts. We left underwhelmed, and the owner has since failed to rectify in any way.

Very
Very physically active and even somewhat demanding in parts, which we found pretty cool. One of the better parts from our perspective. Final phase was very cool.
Game would likely be inaccessible to people with mobility issues, or larger players who canโt find in confined spaces. Tight, potentially dangerous area would be out of bounds for anyone uncomfortable with small spaces. Think: โrolling under a car while laying on a skateboardโ for reference. Final phase, as cool as it is, would be impossible for someone with any mobility issues at all. Personally, we enjoyed the physically demanding nature of the room, but from an accessibility perspective would probably score low. Hearing, vision, or color blindness would all pose roadblocks as far as any other escape room, but I think this sort of comes with the territory.

Lots tech! Iv done 6 escape rooms and the puzzles were pretty straight forward, 1 or 2 of them stumped us, which gave it some challenge. Perfect room for people who have done 1-5 escape rooms.

Some fun puzzles and cool concept but a few triggers were broken and one of the got stuck and they didnโt tell us for a while so we just assumed it wasnโt supposed to open. So that wasted some time.

Outside in was a fun, easier difficulty, technology driven room. The theme blended seamlessly into the interactive puzzles. The game feels best suited to smaller groups and is perfect for two players, however, canโt be done solo. There was no hide and seek elements and the room played in a linear fashion.

What a cute and unique game. The main room set design could have been a little better and one puzzle no longer works because players destroyed it, but this game had such a unique start, a wonderful storyline, and puzzles and tasks that were enjoyable. It is an easier room that is great for beginners but the experience is memorable for anyone who plays.

So much fun. The room and concept are both very unique. All the puzzles were so much fun. There were no mechanical locks and the game itself was completely linear. I would recommend this room to beginners and enthusiasts!
Linear room. Flowed great!

I really enjoyed this room! Our group of six high-strung, alpha-dog, novices escaped in 42 minutes. We ranged in age from 11-77 years. Players in our group have attempted 4-7 rooms so, for us, this was closer to the medium side of difficulty than to the easy side (I have the dismal stat of 2W-3L, so I appreciate this success). This is a linear experience so smaller groups (maybe 4 ppl?) would be good. One task requires two participants, so donโt attempt this room solo. The tasks are entirely lock & keyless, which was a first for me - so fun! The room was well maintained and well decorated. The theme stuck throughout the experience and was clever. While the room is not scary (no monsters or jump-scares, etc.), one task will require bravery and another is easier if you have a small flexible player in your group. We are looking forward to attempting another Top Tier room one day!
This is a linear puzzle. Lock & keyless.
Very cute props!

A clever theme with cute props. Well maintained.
The theme held through the entire experience. Cute!

Our group of 6 novices (11-77 years old) has attempted 4-7 rooms. So we found it very entertaining but closer to the medium side than easy. The puzzles required ideas from each of us.

This was a cute and clever game that would be great for families or newer enthusiasts. That being said, our group of experienced enthusiasts and owners with 100s of games each all really enjoyed its offerings of experiences and humor.
Sets were fun and fit the themes well.
Michelle was amazing and opened early for us and even let our dogs join in on the fun. We definitely appreciated her going the extra mile to accommodate us.

Outside In was a fun, funny, cute, unique adventure from beginning to end. Though weโve played 200+ escape rooms, weโve never played a game similar to Outside In. We really enjoyed the humor, varied puzzles, and fun ending to Outside In. For enthusiasts, I would keep the group size on the smaller size (2-3) given the linear nature of the room. For newbies, 3-4 would be ideal. There is one puzzle that was a little โguess what the designer was thinkingโ but the solution does make sense. Overall, Outside In was a solid room with several unique elements- play this game if youโre in the area
