Once Upon A Time

Perfect introductory room for beginners, youth, and families. Despite that first sentence - it can propose some challenges! Some puzzles were more difficult that we anticipated. One was literally amusing and that was a first for us!

I was able to play this room by myself, and I found it really awesome! It was cute, well themed, and had some cool puzzles.

6.7/10 The game is very beautiful and some very neat mechanics. On the other hand, some of the tasks are difficult or require odd leaps and logic. A great room for kids!

The storyline and atmosphere really made the room for us, it felt magical! However, we weren't the biggest fan of the puzzles as they were either too easy or felt like they didn't have any clues leading towards the answer. I see where this could be a great room if you have younger kids.

Very fun. Loved how interactive it was! Be prepared to laugh!!! Set was so well done it bordered on being distracting. Great attention detail!

I believe we were successful in this room by luck. It’s a cute atmosphere and our GM was great, but too many trial and error sequences. Admittedly we got lucky finishing several puzzles and it didn’t feel rewarding at all. It is a very linear room through which you will be told exactly what you need to be working on.

This room (once upon a time) was a lot of fun. I can really see a family of new escape room enthusiast really enjoying this experience. The room was whimsical and really felt like a next generation experience (especially for the price). GM was attentive and made sure we were having fun. The only minor critique I would say (without spoiling things) is that their was a puzzle that could use some more clarification in terms of what needs to be done.

SO BEAUTIFUL! Lots of gen 2 puzzles with the cutest and most creative solutions. William and Michael were great game masters! There were two red herrings that threw us off (and apparently most others as well) but everything else made complete sense and flowed together very nicely. This is my favorite room by Operation Escape
