I think this place gets mixed reviews because itโs just not the same as a traditional escape room. I really enjoy all the rooms here, but itโs important to go in knowing itโs not going to be exactly like all escape rooms youโve done before. First of all, they donโt make a big deal out of designing a โsetโ, the tower IS the set (which makes sense, right? Itโs a historic landmark, they should use it). Second the puzzles are justโฆ different. Iโm not entirely sure how to describe it but theyโre not like the kind of puzzles Iโm used to. I kind of love that about them, but I could see it frustrating people who want to go in to something knowing what to expect. Overall if youโre looking for a deeply immersive experience this may not be it, but if youโre looking for something a little off the beaten path give it a try!
The gameplay is fun with puzzles that are unique and sometimes out of the box.
At this establishment itโs important to note the the Tower IS the atmosphere. They donโt seem to make too much effort to dress the space, possibly because itโs on the national register of historic places and maybe they canโt do too much construction. Itโs find by me though, because the tower is beautiful and I think once you realize that it makes complete sense.
Particularly interesting or different

The puzzles are so different at this place- I canโt really describe it but they just arenโt like any place Iโve seen before.
Pretty good but not what Iโd call โimmersiveโ.
