I think this place gets mixed reviews because itβs just not the same as a traditional escape room. I really enjoy all the rooms here, but itβs important to go in knowing itβs not going to be exactly like all escape rooms youβve done before. First of all, they donβt make a big deal out of designing a βsetβ, the tower IS the set (which makes sense, right? Itβs a historic landmark, they should use it). Second the puzzles are justβ¦ different. Iβm not entirely sure how to describe it but theyβre not like the kind of puzzles Iβm used to. I kind of love that about them, but I could see it frustrating people who want to go in to something knowing what to expect. Overall if youβre looking for a deeply immersive experience this may not be it, but if youβre looking for something a little off the beaten path give it a try!
The gameplay is fun with puzzles that are unique and sometimes out of the box.
At this establishment itβs important to note the the Tower IS the atmosphere. They donβt seem to make too much effort to dress the space, possibly because itβs on the national register of historic places and maybe they canβt do too much construction. Itβs find by me though, because the tower is beautiful and I think once you realize that it makes complete sense.
Particularly interesting or different
Yes
The puzzles are so different at this place- I canβt really describe it but they just arenβt like any place Iβve seen before.
Pretty good but not what Iβd call βimmersiveβ.
