The Seventh Room

Me and my partner absolutely loved this room. We are horror junkies and it gave us just the amount of uneasy to be on our toes but not to prohibit our brains from working in the room. About 30 minutes in we became comfortable with the spooky atmosphere of the room and settled in to the fact that this is on us. Parts of this room had moments of very low lighting, no lighting at all, climbing, crawling. If you’re going to play this room make sure you have at least one person in your party that is willing to climb and has the ability to do so. The low lighting made easy puzzles frustrating at times but we got through it. Prior to entering the room the GM warns you about moments of isolation and since it was just the two of us there were times where we both had to be totally isolated from one another and those parts were some of the coolest in the room. After we escaped it was definitely one of our biggest car ride home talking points. We also loved how a lot of it felt like we were right in a conjuring movie. We only played with the 2 of us and had an absolutely unforgettable experience.

I really loved this room although I wish I had played with a smaller group. I was in a group of 10+ and we just had too many people. I would probably cap my group at 7 at the most because with so many people you didn’t get the chance to see everything or work on more than a few things here and there. The room design and flow was amazing and we all had a great time. We were all so amazed by the set design and just overall had a great time playing this blast from the past room

This was my first room with Dare 2 Escape and I must say, it got me hooked. I love the atmosphere of the building the rooms are in and the room itself did not disappoint. Our GM Bri was absolutely hilarious, at the beginning of our time she tipped out of a rolling chair and that was when we knew it was gonna be a great game. The puzzles were unique and complex and all really flowed with the room theme and story line. I won’t spoil anything but it did really itch the part of my brain that misses blockbuster.
