I have done over 100 rooms at this point and I would say that this is a top room for me! Highly suggest this room!
The Grand Parlor13th Hour Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWOW! This room was AWESOME! We were a little hesitant at first because we don't do the scary rooms. But, this room just has the creep factor, not the scare factor. With that being said, WOW! This room is amazing. I loved the immersion and puzzles were really great! I have done over 100 rooms at this point and some of the puzzles I saw in this room were new to me. If you are an enthusiasts and looking for a challenge, I strongly suggest this room! We were able to do it with 3 people, but it is a big room! We were moving the entire time which was awesome and not something we experience all that often! Very well done and this room has moved into my top 5 of all time!
Alice's DreamMind Twist Escape ExperienceEscape roomIRLI thought this room was really cool. It was very immersive and the puzzles made you think without making you think too hard. After doing many escape rooms, I have found that a lot of what I see is repeated, but this room does have some interesting puzzles that I havent seen before. I believe the thought and innovation behind this room was good but there are some items in this room that may prohibit players from being able to complete it. I'm a big guy and I didn't think I was going to fit through the one part of the puzzle. Overall, very nice room though.
The TavernEscape On QueenEscape roomIRLWe did this room for my birthday! We really enjoyed it and it made for a great game for my large group. The staff is always super nice and this room starts out strong but towards the end of the room, it gets weaker in puzzles and game play.
Escape The HydeoutMission Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis room was really well done. The puzzles were difficult, but it was a good difficult! We had an awesome GM named Molly! Super sweet and very enthusiastic about escape rooms! From the beginning, the room was challenging, but not frustrating. As we worked our way through the room, it was clear that the room was thought out and well executed. Some of the puzzles made us think in ways we hadn't before, but that's a good thing. I really enjoyed this room and if you are in the Anaheim area, definitely take a trip over!
Aunt Edna’s InheritanceExpedition EscapeEscape roomIRLThis room was not good. We were not a fan because many of the items were outdated, broken, or didn't make sense. The story line was weak and it seemed like a lot of things were forced into the plot line. One of the major puzzles didn't actually work and the ending was very anticlimactic. I hate leaving negative reviews, but this room's was very upsetting.

We enjoyed playing this game, but we did find some frustration with some things in the room. Some of the puzzles, when solved, were unclear as to if they had been solved or not. We also found it frustrating that clues were given via text messaging. This caused a delay in game play for us.
Escape The 1980sEscape Room LancasterEscape roomIRLThis room's biggest flaw was it lacked story/plot. The game play was okay, but the plot and the GMs didn't make for a good memorable experience for us. Some if the puzzles were really good, but some of the puzzles missed the mark on execution.
Merlin’s HouseSmart EscapeEscape roomIRLThis room was good. It was a nice room for people who are looking for a little more than a starter room. The room is very linear where you solve one puzzle, then the next, then the next. We found at times, one of the three of us was standing around waiting because the other two were working on the one puzzle. Other than that, it was a fun room.

We loved the fact that the room was done entirely in the dark, but didn't like that we were only given one lantern that the GM told us from the get go that it wasn't the best. That kind of set us up with some skepticism. Also, the puzzles in the room required either light or a way to read the item through something else. It was super difficult to use the light for the puzzles. Once we were in the room, there were two instances where we were very frustrated. One of them was when we were required to pull a puzzle out off of the wall. As a group that has done MANY escape rooms, we were hesitant in pulling this off of the wall as we were told in the instructions not to pull things off the wall and we live by the two finger rule, if it can't be moved with 2 fingers, it isn't supposed to move or be moved. Overall, not a horrible room, but not in my top rooms.
